JP title: 対魔忍ユキカゼ

So you may remember that I actually played this nukige several months ago but never quite reviewed it, because what do you even write about with a nukige? Well, anyway, I guess that changes today, because I’m just in that specific “let’s write about cute brown girls getting pumped in the poopyhole so hard they eventually get addicted to it” mood right now. You know the one. Anyway, don’t expect a deep and comprehensive analysis since like 90% of this VN is about Hot Dickings, but I figured I could have some fun writing a silly review and maybe you’ll enjoy reading it! I hope!

[Review] Himawari: Aqua After – The Day the Moon Stood Still

JP title: ひまわりアクアアフター The Day the Moon Stood Still

As the title implies, this is a sequel to Himawari that follows from the ending of Aqua’s route. And in good ol’ Himawari fashion, it’s not a light-hearted lovey-dovey fandisc. Not even close. But that’s exactly what we want from Himawari, right? Even if it makes us scream at the monitor sometimes, lol.

Note: As this is a review of Himawari’s sequel-sort-of-thing, there might be some spoilers for the original (main) game and its side stories. Or I dunno. Either way, you should probably not look at articles about sequels if you haven’t read the original, is what I’m trying to say.

JP title: 刃鳴散らす

To be perfectly honest, as someone whose favorite VN is Narahara Ittetsu’s Soukou Akki Muramasa, I really should’ve read this game sooner, considering it’s by the same author. Maybe a part of me dismissed it as potentially inferior, expecting it to even be disappointing on a certain level. Luckily, disappointing it was not — painfully short though it may be, Hanachirasu is Narahara’s work through and through; the same heart beating beneath a slightly different shell.

[Review] Final Fantasy XIII

ff13-review-banner2

So this is one game I’ve always been meaning to finish myself just to see if all the things fans have been saying about it were true, and after a solid 47 hours of play time, I can now say that I did just that. And I have my answer, too. But let’s not spoil the fun in advance by revealing what I ultimately thought about the game in my introduction — and besides, some of you (yes, you) are going to scroll to the bottom anyway just to see my concluding thoughts. I can’t stop you, nor do I wish to. I’m not your mother, you lovable little rapscallion. Anyway, uh… without further ado, let’s jump right in, because I feel this is going to be one long review. Here are my thoughts on Square Enix’s fairly controversial 2009 entry in the Final Fantasy franchise.
